…a Nature Preserve in Daniel Boone National Forest

Red Gate hollow is rucked away from the Horns River Road with a single pint of entry. Once inside, the boundaries of the land stretch to the base of the surrounding cliffs and 2 secondary ridges along the east and west side.
A number of natural springs converge into a lush creek that is flowing out past the camp areas and access road.

Discover any of the 4 available campsites – reserve on HipCamp.
Future developments will include a yurt, a geodesic dome, and a wooden cabin. Stay tuned for updates.

The natural property is left largely untouched. There are a few tracks from local wildlife and clearing attempts form past owners.
The designated caping area are at the bottom of the hollow, easily accessible to car and foot.
There are 2 old structures that are in the process of removal, we suggest to stay clear of them.
